Hyalite Rural Fire Department depends primarily on the support and volunteer participation of men and women from our community. Being a member of the Hyalite Fire Department is challenging, rewarding, and fun work. We want individuals living in the Bozeman area who are committed to working in a professional environment as a member of a team dedicated to providing outstanding service to our community.
Volunteer Firefighters receive a State of Montana and National Pro Board Firefighter 1 Certification. After graduation from the Recruit Academy, volunteers may be able to participate in our resident program, living
full-time at the Sourdough Fire Station.
