Meet Our Volunteers

The Hyalite Rural Fire District has 45 Volunteer Firefighters. We have a resident program that provides full-time housing for 8 volunteers at our Sourdough Fire Station, 4 volunteers at our Cottonwood Fire Station and, 4 volunteers at our Rae Fire Station. The remainder of our volunteers respond to calls while on shift at the station or from home.
